Our first intimate backyard wedding fell on the popular wedding date of 10/10/2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We woke up on that morning in a tent on a family camping trip in Missouri and headed out early on the drive to Tulsa - that was just the crazy start to a beautiful day!
Ethan had contacted us in search of a photographer at his mom’s recommendation - though he didn’t remember Blaine (fair enough, he was just a toddler!), they had been around each other some as children. Their moms were roommates in college and had been babysitters for each other in their first few years of marriage!
It was fun to reconnect after so long with Ethan and to get to meet the girl who is now his wife! Raegan and Ethan balance each other so well, and their centeredness around Jesus is so clear in their relationship!
When the videographer fell sick only three days prior to the wedding, we scrambled to help find another videographer. Stephanie and Matt, another husband and wife team called Sumner Adventures, were so fantastic to work with, from the short notice booking to being attentive to every detail during the day. We can’t wait to see their highlight video!
From the intimate first look and reading of vows in a local clearing affectionately called “the Glen” by Ethan to the fun sparkler sendoff and getaway in the 1928 REO, we were so honored to be able to spend the day with the couple on what will forever be one of the biggest days in their lives. We wish them all the blessings and joy of a love filled marriage!
