Sparrow Beginnings is a truly majestic wedding venue located at the highest point of Stillwater, Oklahoma just off of highway 177. This beautiful venue was founded by three sisters and their mother. As they describe on their website, “2015 was a big year in this family as they were planning three weddings simultaneously. With wedding dreams and ideas blossoming in all four of their minds, the family went in search of the perfect local venue in which to turn their dream into a reality. That’s when they made their discovery—the place they envisioned didn’t exist anywhere in or near Stillwater. These resourceful and determined women found a rambling, romantic piece of countryside, and created the place they imagined for themselves. Like sparrows, who collaborate to build their nests, Jessica, Shelby, Katie and Susan have woven their visions into one, and worked together to bring it to life.” They desired to have a beautiful meeting place and wedding venue in the area and started planning. The venue definitely fulfilled their desires - as an extremely talented architect and construction crew made their dream a reality! The venue is complete with timber frame beams and sparkling chandeliers inside.
Venue rental includes tables and chairs for seating up to 320 inside as well as a large commercial kitchen. A beautiful indoor ceremony area is located on one end of the venue with large windows as a back drop. If nature is your thing and you’ve always dreamed of having an outdoor wedding, then their outdoor ceremony option is for you! The outdoor ceremony location overlooks Stillwater and will take your breath away. Sparrow Beginnings has truly thought of everything to make your perfect day special! They have luxurious suites for getting ready, indoor and outdoor PA systems, a large stage for your DJ, built-in projectors, access to their 30 acre property for photographs, and a large convenient parking lot for your guests! Payment plans are available and they even have a storage building located on the property with wedding decorations that you can access for an additional fee.
If you have guests from out of town, there are two beautiful cottages, called The Nest and The Roost, located on site. Perfect for staying in with your girls the evening before the wedding, for parents, or friends! They even have a pond for fishing and canoes if you’d like to enjoy the water!
